As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting our products and solutions, and assisting clients in finding the right solutions to meet their specific needs. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about Industrial Automation and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement:

Proactively reach out to potential and existing customers to understand their needs.

Build and nurture strong customer relationships, providing outstanding customer service and support.

Address inquiries, offer product recommendations, and assist with order processing.

2. Product Knowledge:

Develop in-depth knowledge of our Industrial Automation products and solutions.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements to provide informed recommendations to customers.

3. Sales and Business Development:

Identify sales opportunities and work to meet or exceed sales targets.

Conduct outbound sales calls, emails, and other communication methods to generate leads and close deals.

Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure alignment with customer needs.

4. Quoting & Ordering:

Coordinate with the team to prepare and deliver accurate and competitive price quotes as well as orders to customers.

Coordinate with the team to ensure quotes and orders align with customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven inside sales experience, ideally in the Industrial Automation or technical products sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities. Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.

Applications Support Engineer

Technical and applications support engineer for distributor of industrial electrical controls and automation products in Lawrenceville, GA. where you will assist our sales staff and our many fine industrial customers in person in the field and via phone to help with industrial control applications and technical support issues and specifications. You will provide technical support on HMIs, PLCs, sensors, wireless I/O, robotics, motors & drives, and many other industrial control and automation products. Some mostly local travel is required. You will periodically attend both local and factory training on electrical automation products.

Skills:

  • Good knowledge of industrial electricity and electrical controls and automation is required.
  • Associate Degree or higher in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience in related field required.
  • Great Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of computer coding such as C++ or Java is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
