Day 1
- This is an AA Electric Hosted Event for Wago covering their I/O, PLC Controllers and their new line of software and controllers. This course will include hands on Labs for class attendees.
Agenda:
We cover WAGO's line of controllers and I/O modules and how they function together. The first half will delve into the Codesys programming software used to program these units. The Second half of the course will dig into WAGO's new line of PFC 100's and PLC 200's, and the new e!Cockpit software, Wago's proprietary development software based on Codesys 3. Additionally, the course will include WAGO's new e!Display Web panels.
Course Requirements:
A basic understanding of PLC control systems. A laptop computer running Windows 7 or Windows 10, capable of having software loaded on it.
Day 1
Agenda:
- Program the drive for a basic startup
- Perform a proper commissioning of a drive for startup
- Understand how to manipulate & interpret the LCP of the drive
- Learn valuable trouble-shooting techniques for a quick and easy fix
This class will guide the student through the procedures involved with commissioning Danfoss Automation drives for basic startup, including parameter settings and wiring of the I/O terminals. Guided lab exercises will provide the students with hands-on experience programming for common applications and valuable problem solving techniques. The class is open to discussing specific applications of interest and certain ones can be simulated in the lab.
Course materials will be provided
Day 1
- Skill Level: An understanding of PLC programming is required. If you are new to PLC programming please take our Into to Logic and Basic PLC class.
Equipment Used:
Omron NX1P and Sysmac Studio. Please bring a laptop (we will provide a link to the software used)
